ABOUT

The Europe week started in Dajti Mountain on the Europe Day on 9th May, continuing with main celebrations organized in Tirana, Dibra, Shkodra, Cerrik, Vlora, Korca and Gjirokastra.

Europe Week this year focused on promoting skills, jobs and growth that will bring Albania into the EU!

Under the moto #YourSkillsYourFuture, Europe Week 2023 was set to embark on an exciting journey through Albania, showcasing the country's talented youth. As this is the European Year of Skills, we aimed to highlight the importance of skills development, while recognising the achievements of young people who have thrived with the support of the EU.

Events

Across Albania, 24 events in 12 districts, in 10 days, were held, promoting the support of the EU in fields such as tourism, innovation, digitalization, food safety, culture & heritage, infrastructure and rural development and nature preservation.
The programme featured workshops on digital skills, traditional old crafts, culinary traditions, open talks with beneficiaries, movies and artistic exhibitions. Find out more!
