FELT, the Festival of European Literature in Tirana, celebrates European literary voices,
bringing together renowned authors, translators, and readers from across Europe.
Organised by the EU Delegation to Albania in collaboration with the Italian Institute of
Culture and various EU Member States embassies in Albania, FELT returns for its
second edition with an even richer programme, welcoming more writers from Ireland,
Austria/Germany/Slovenia, Spain, the Netherlands, Croatia, Bulgaria, the Czech
Republic, France, Greece, Italy and Poland. Through readings, discussions, artistic
performances and interactive sessions, the festival continues to encourage dialogue on
contemporary literature while highlighting themes of identity, history, and societal
change. Building on the success of its first edition, FELT is growing into an annual
tradition that strengthens cultural exchange and promotes the power of storytelling in
shaping understanding and inclusivity.
