Europe Week 2026 in Albania, organised by the European Union Delegation, centres on the theme “Open Space“. Building on the success of 2025’s “A Space to Create”, the 2026 programme reinforces the EU’s commitment to artistic freedom as a pillar of democratic life. From May 9 to May 22, 2026, the initiative transforms public and cultural venues across Albania into a “living dialogue” through ten selected original productions, featuring 23 artists in more than 55 events.
